Lagos

Lagos and the Algarve was the final leg of our trip to Portugal.

We intentionally planned to come here last because we expected it to be a lot more relaxing and slower paced than our other trips. It was the perfect way to end our trip.

We did one sunrise kayak tour that took us through caves near Praia da Marinha and got lucky enough to see dolphins. Apparently this was super rare for where we were at.

After that it was a lot of relaxing, reading, eating and wine drinking.

A cliff view from the inside of a cave on our kayak tour.

Lagos 3

Hard to beat a breakfast view like this from our hotel. One of the better breakfast buffets I can remember having. We will miss the orange juice from Portugal. It's leaps and bounds better than what we typically get.

Lagos 4

The place we stayed had a 20-minute walk to the Meia Praia beach.

Lagos 5

We went into downtown Lagos a few times for dinner and Madi also picked up a hand made grater plate from The Original Grater.

A kayak selfie from inside the Benagil Cave, which I guess was used as a Windows wallpaper at some point.

Lagos 7

This photo feels fitting for me. I was excited to see that White Monster was widely available throughout all of our stops in Portugal.
